About the DJ ~
My name is Gary Myers and I've been DJ'ing in Lawrence and surrounding areas for several years now. Odds are if your from around here you've probably seen me DJ at wedding or two. My main focus is on weddings, but I do all sorts of events ~ birthdays, corporate events, holiday parties, graduations, proms..etc.
I know when it comes to choosing a DJ it can sometimes be a difficult decision. Its a bigger investment then you think, A DJ can make or break the evening. Rest assured I'll be helping you every step of the way. I'll provide you with a reception planner guide to help you prepare and know what to expect for your event, as well as I'll be on the mic making announcements throughout the evening.
As for sound gear I use high end professional sound gear that you know and trust.. such as ~ Shure, EV, JBL, and so on.. If a technical problem should happen to occur, I always have backup gear with me onsite. The show must go on!! Well that and I also don't want to have to do the walk of shame back to the car lol. I stand by my performance and I will do everything in my power to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a great time!
